Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb tortellini (cheese or meat-filled)
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup grated Romano cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

  • Cook the tortellini according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove the bacon from the skillet and set aside.
  • Add the garlic to the skillet and cook for 30 seconds, or until fragrant.
  • Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened slightly.
  • Stir in the Parmesan cheese and Romano cheese. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Add the cooked tortellini and crumbled bacon to the skillet. Toss to coat.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a spicier dish, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce.
  • You can substitute the heavy cream with half-and-half for a lighter sauce.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
