A refreshing, metabolism-boosting drink that jumpstarts your day in just 7 seconds. Cold water, lemon, and a splash of apple cider vinegar come together for a simple yet energizing morning ritual.

Ingredients

1 cup cold water (preferably ice-cold)

3-4 cubes of ice

1 slice of lemon (optional)

1/2 tsp apple cider vinegar (optional)

Instructions

  1. Fill a glass with ice cubes.
  2. Pour in the cold water.
  3. Add a lemon slice and apple cider vinegar, if using.
  4. Stir it up quickly.
  5. Drink it within 7 seconds for that chilly metabolism kick!

Notes

  • If lemon's too strong in the morning, skip it or try cucumber.
  • Sensitive teeth? Use a straw so the ice-cold water skips your front chompers.
  • Some folks add a pinch of baking soda—I don’t personally, but I know it’s a thing in some circles.
